About Us

Having spent many hrs as a youth in my "Poppy's" furniture restoration workshop, I developed an early love for all things old and interesting. While I was kept busy hand sanding, nailing and occasionally jigsaw cutting scraps from his projects, I learned the basics of old time wood work. Hand cut dovetails, tin punching, leg turning on the lathe and most importantly to take my time. My Granny's words still ring true..."Sand until you think you are done, and then sand some more"

High quality materials are the foundation. Whether your project is one of our hand carved bowls, a custom jewelry box or a one-of-a-kind Live Edge Slab piece we start with premium lumber milled locally to meet each projects individual specs. 

Once the lumber is acquired and the build begins, email communication with pictures are sent at regular intervals during the process for customer feedback and approval. This process of constant communication ensures the build goes smoothly and according to design.

We pride ourselves on utilizing traditional methods and operate under an "old school" business model. That means we do  what we say, say what we mean, and expect fair payment for services rendered.
